My Current Humidor

As I've changed my cigar smoking habits and developed tastes for many different types of cigars, I've also changed the type of humidor I've used to keep them fresh for long periods of time.

For the past 8 years, I've been the proud owner of a beautiful humidor from the Humicon Company.  Their website can be visited at www.humicon.com.  I chose their Showcase model and am extremely happy with it.  It controls the relative humidity inside the box automatically and has a huge distilled water reservoir so that I can go up to 90 days without having to worry about it.  It's low maintenance and does a great job of maintaining the relative humidity.  Combine that with a house that we usually keep around 72 degrees and I know that my cigars are in the right environment for long term storage.

Here are some pictures of the humidor at my house.  It occupies a prominent place in my living room and is not only a very functional humidor, but is also handsome enough that my wife doesn't mind having it in there!
